| BUT Now that we're past Christmas I can share with no worries. I knit all sorts of Mittens for the Nephews. In mix-and-match Fair Isle(ish) patterns. |

| Sets of three, with a "Universal thumb" that means the mitten can be worn on either hand. |

| And the third mitten means there's a spare if they lose one. Which little ones will do. |

| I did a pair for their Dad too -- but he only gets two. I think he's less likely to lose one. (Watch him be the first!) |

| And a Hat for my Sister. This is the Baa-ble hat pattern from Shetland Week, but done in Lion Brand Wool-Ease. I'm calling it "Wash-a-baa-ble" :) |

ReplyDeleteI appreciate your zeal for Christ. If you have looked at the Devotionals page of my blog you have seen that I am a Believer and Follower of Jesus Christ and that I also share my faith in this and other online forums. I have published your comment as I believe your intentions were well meant. I believe that we are all asked to help spread the Message and Hope that all might be Saved.
However, I must admit that my first reaction to your "comment" on my Christmas Knitting post was to wonder how you would react if I went and posted about knitting on one of your evangelism blog posts.
I think it would have been more respectful of me if you had chosen to place your comment on one of the blog posts in which I mention my faith. It would have been more conversational, more intentional, less spam-like.
Jesus, and the Good News should NEVER be treated like Spam, Steve. Never.
