One of the designs I've created for the kits I'm calling Counting House. It uses blocks of various quilting "coins" an idea inspired by the nursery rhyme phrase "The King was in the counting house, counting out his money..."As the quilts are meant to be easy (or beginner) the most complicated blocks in the whole thing are the Coin of the Orient block -- shown above. As you can see I'm using a pallet of red and green and white for the sample I'm doing up.
